Hi all
Been an Alfa man many years, still am, but after much thought, stopped thinking, and acted. Just purchased a 2008 reg Gransport L.E. Wow! what a car, just love it
Guess I might need to give up the drink to afford to keep it on the road, but think I will need a drink when the bills start arriving, oh well.
Couple of questions please, how do you post P.M's on here? and how do you add your other cars onto your profile? also are there any recommended specialist in Cambridgeshire or near by?
Look forward to meeting up with some of you in the future.
Regards Geoff

Welcome.

Click on the profile name of who you want to PM and then start a conversation.

Now upload some picks and tell us about the car.

Its called natural progression Geoff...but, like many, you will probably still have a Busso stashed away at some point.

Welcome to the madness.

Hi Geoff - good choice of car... All the others on here would never admit it, and a few of them are in denial about it, but the reality is that the Gransport (in LE Spec) is the best Maserati ever, and proves you are a car GENIUS!

PS - because I am also a genius, I will answer the question re signatures and other cars...

Up in the top left corner, click on where it says your name next to your photo. This will bring up a list of options. Click Signature, and then type in the details there...

Thanks all for the warm welcome. The story is, I have come to a time in life (should have done it much sooner) That to **** with it I am going to enjoy. So reorganised the family fleet the wife is happy with her Volvo and so am I but on some occasions need another run around (when shes at golf and I want to wander off somewhere) so second car that won't be doing too many miles, what shall I buy:cool: I thought modern classic that might hold it's value and would be fun. Think I may have got half of that right! XKR was high on the list and a sensible choice but there are a lot of them about. Then when browsing car ads noticed a Granturismo and though,t have to give one a go. but decided it was just to big and they still likely to depreciate. so started looking at 4200 but could decide on C.C or stick. Looked at this forum for advice and noticed D.G had a good reputation so contacted him, he gave me good advice and I left him with a wish list. Some weeks later he informed a car had come up, went and inspected (read fell in love) the rest is history.

gb-gta sorry no Brusso but always wanted that engine.

My other cars are, 1984 Alfetta GTV 2lt owned from new 40,000 miles stunning, I will never sell it
1997 916 twin spark spider, bought this spring with only 18,000 miles on, great fun car, bought for a European trip we did last summer.
1975 Alfa Montreal RHD bought this a few years ago has a running restro, which has turned into a full restro, keeps me out of harms way in the garage.
Volvo V40 buying this for the wife allowed me to get the Gransport.6355063551
