Hey guys,
i have a 4200cc and i was wondering if somebody can recommend a phone holder, something elegant and practical for the Maserati. At the moment im using an iPhone (i dont think its an issue, most of phone holders are universals).

Thank u and best regards from Germany

I use one of these in my GS (same vents):

Rheme Phone Holder for Air Vent, Magnetic Cradle Car Mount Dock holder https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00VTQEVZO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_fs33BbDJEKN5Y

I have mine on the vent on the passenger's side of the centre console. I found if I have it driver's side I was always having to look around my arm.

Worth a try for a few quid / euros, and it's nice and discreet. You do need a phone with a metal body or a case you can slip the supplied metal plate behind.

I have these in all my cars and they are brilliant. The only issue now with updating to the iPhone X Max is that I cant make use of the wireless charging as you have to have a metal plate stuck to the back of the phone...or to the inside of the case for me.

Buy 3 or 4 of them and put them in each car and they just work and never let go.

So for those of you who want to just bung the phone at the holder and not muck about with clips and grips, they are idea. Also Zep and my brother use them so when ever I get in their cars I always 'shotgun' the holder with my phone :)

The version I have is called iClever but I believe JML bought the product and now market it.

Ive just looked at the JML one and it does not come with the sticky adhesive suction cup so if you can find the iClever one, go for that as its sticks to any surface like glue.

The JML one will work great on glass but not on textured surfaces, the iClever one will work on both.

Oh, and use the larger rectangle plate over the smaller round one and put it inside the case or on the back of the phone if you dont use a case.

Yeah, but I really don't want to have to stick a metal plate onto my nice sleek phone....

I have an excellent universal phone mount that seems to work in any vehicle I use. It's a large blob of blue tac.

Does it not melt / mark the surfaces / be ****?

I have one that was recommended on here that plugs onto the vent slats. Again, has a magnet, but the plate is stuck on the back of the charging cradle that I use
