Hi
I sold my Spyder a few years ago and am really regretting it.

She was silver with black wheels, RA52 ZZj, just wondering if someone on here has her, and how she is going really?

Hi
Thanks for the reply
Been through a couple, SLK 55 AMG and 911 C4 Convertible possibly going to get another Spyder in the new year though.

The 911 was a better drive, and easier in the wet but a little boring, and not as pretty once you got used to the looks
the Merc was just mental, I took it up to 170 at a VMAX200 event before it slammed into the limiter(155 supposedly) with the roof off!!
But neither had the looks, sound or style of the Spyder.
Although I preferred the full auto gearboxes they both had.
It`s the wifes fault I sold it as she couldn`t get to grips with the gearbox and as we live in the city center only have 1 parking bay, she has an ML500 now so I can get whatever the **** I want ;))

AMG Merc's are just ridiculous - good to see though that you are coming back to the marque!

Well Craig, you could do a lot worse than PM Matt (Conaero) the forum boss; he will be selling his spyder at some point, it is a fine example with an 'improved' exhaust output already :D

I'm sure I looked at that before getting the AC, was about 2 years ago. Will try and remember where.

Hi Craig, welcome back to the fold. As you know a spyder is the way to go so good luck on your quest. If you are looking for a good one I can confirm that Matts (Conaero) spyder is a very good one, I helped to sort the exhaust out and I've driven it too; in a word - gorgeous. It's nearly as good as mine!

Pretty sure it was for sale on eBay for ages and also at a dealer...I think it may've been GP Cars, but could be wrong. It had black wheels and was discussed on here, and then discussed again on here when they refurbed the wheels in silver (worth doing a few searches!). The reason I remember it is that it was only one letter different on the reg from my old Spyder.

That one has been on Autotrader for some months now and seems great value for a GS Spyder....but as with most on Autotrader it could have sold as it takes an age to update....

Never liked the interior on that one, it clashes with the exterior in my eye. Black and insipid light blue against dark blue; doesn't quite work for me. Nice clean car though and a reasonable price.

GS Spyder for 28k, forgive me for asking but isn't that a bit.......cheap...... i remember when these were fetching over 40k at Autofficina and it wasn't that long ago.

It would probably be worth more with a decent interior. I reckon it would put a lot of people off, it would me.
