Russian blogger living in a bubble....

I know the population are being fed BS on state TV but..... oh dear, how sad, never mind.

To be fair, she probably makes a living from her Instagram... and now how will she be able to pay for and complete the series of plastic surgeries she appears to be half way through.

How this contrasts with a Ukrainian vlogger, who reported on her trips to Eastern European country resorts with her family. Now,she posts videos on her family's evacuation. Polar opposites. Her eldest daughter is off to Berlin, while Liya and her younger daughters flee to Romania, leaving her husband and home behind.

She got a lot of abuse from Russian subscribers, who accused her of being part of the plot.

So the Government are launching a scheme for people to offer Ukrainian refugees a home, min
6 months.
Is anyone else considering this ?
Mrs Scaf is very keen, subject to fully understanding the scheme.
We have two spare rooms and my daughter is moving out within the next month or so, so we have space.
Mrs Scaf would like us to support a mother and 1/2 children.
The human tragedy caused d by this war is unbelievable and as Mrs Scaf has said, if it was one of our daughters and a grandchild, wouldn't we want someone to take them in.
There was some risk of course, but I think overall I am happy to support her if this is what she wants to do.

We have registered for the alert when the govt www site opens tomorrow. We have 2 bedrooms but we live in the darkest rural wilts and I expect that cities would be preferred but who knows. The word is that the govt is simply going to hand off ‘leads’ to charity agencies who will do the legwork. We are hopeful and ready to host with a few EU languages in our extended family and open arms!

Yep, we have a good sized flat above the garage and about a week ago Mrs BB contacted a charity that organises this in Scotland. It’s the least we can all do if we have the space.

  • 18 million people in Afghanistan need aid.
  • 13 million in Yemen are severely hungry.
  • 15 million in Central Sahel are in need.
  • 4 million in Somalia are drought-affected.

Human suffering is at unprecedented levels across the world, Ukraine is the latest in a long list.

If their own leaders and their followers didn't steal a lot of the trillions in aid spent in all of the above places,
they wouldn't be suffering as much as they are and perhaps hardly at all.
Mr Angry has made a nice life for himself here in the UK, after we let his parents, economic migrants, move
here in the 60's/70's. His hypocrisy saddens me. However, if he feels that his home is Pakistan and that's
where he'd prefer to live. I would say. Don't let the door hit you on the @ss, on the way out.
Walk the walk. Don't merely talk the talk.

My Iranian hairdresser did say roughly the same to me, but in not such direct words.
If Iran wasn't a theocracy, led by mad mullahs who keep exporting terror all over the world
and practised what the Koran preached for one second, they wouldn't be the subject of sanctions.
You know who the Iranians hate, about as much as godless Westerners? Their neighbours across the Straits of Hormuz who are also muslims. But the wrong brand of muslims. Sunni, as opposed to Shi'i in Iran.
It appears to me, only slightly tongue in cheek, like the Church of England and the Church of Scotland
declaring themselves the only true faith and seeking to wipe the other out.
GIVE ME A BREAK!

What about the Syrians who had their cities turned to dust by the same Russian artillery?

Btw I am Iranian

The so called hatred for the neighbors is all to do with history not religion but it's fine you probably don't know
