Hi, that was me ( it was between jct's 24-25). Hit a pothole in the roadworks changing from lane 3 to lane 2 and ripped the sidewall to shreds on the front nearside tyre.Not happy!

Borrocks indeed. Apologies for false location, but I was in the 147 with my mother and Mrs Catman. Made concentration difficult.

Cheers but car not fixed yet, need to get quotes for a couple of fronts ( no doubt I'll be advised to have two!) and then get geometry checked and the wheel inspected.

Have you tried Camskill, sjc? Mail order from t' north but twenty quid to get them fitted and balanced and it was still a load cheaper than Kwik Fit, even with the 25% off Pirelli offer. Do check that it's the correct variant of an apparently identical typre, though, and you're not buying the Ferrari (or Porsche, or Aston etc) version.
Oddly the last tyres I had were cheapest from my local MD (after some haggling).

if you want an all in price, most sites offer a fitted price then Kwik Fit will match (if you are happy using them).

A white GTS with valves open giving it stick on Airport Road past the hotel yesterday evening. A tatty silver 10 year old QP parked up near the tower in Dubai this afternoon and a new or no plates beautiful burgundy GTS being transported towards Abu Dhabi later... Not a bad tally!
