It would be better to go to Silverstone with a definite list of cars to attend, rather than "well we might get a few interested". If we don't get enough cars from the UK to attend and try and put a record on the books for ourselves, then we would have to forget the idea..!!

A fabulous response as always, but the purpose of my original post was to gauge interest and to generate some internet activity that might have some sway.

Ultimately this needs to be a Maserati UK event. It needs support, marketing and a budget, which we can't offer. What we can offer is our unerring collective support.

The Centenary celebrations begin in December and Maserati UK have a whole range of idea's, of which this is apparently one. If they choose to support it and go to work on their database we would easily have more than 200 cars in one place at the same time, which would be something special for sure.

The club usually gets about 50 cars or so at the summer AGM, so if they support this event that'll add another few dozen.
