Just managed to catch up with the show on iPlayer and must add my congratulations to the QP GT S. The porker was no competition, as it's truly the SuBo of the bunch (of any car for that matter), but the Aston looked very elegant and well put together, albeit it at a price. But that noise, that presence, that theatre. Rightfully top dead centre. As for the quibbles about the cockpit, typical reviewers easy target. Why don't they read the owners manual! That's what any owner would do after all!

Anyway, a good day for Maserati. Well done!

Yes agree Miles...Said to the wife the same..you buy a car and read find out where everything is then you know....You don't sit there every morning thinking roght how to I turn the heater on......Anyway the only button you need to now in that car is the loud button...Sports button on all the time me thinks.

So true Andy, in fact I wonder whether I could fiddle with the wiring on mine so that you have to press it to turn it off rather than on? Hmm.

Sport buttons are a bit of a gimic as far as I'm concern...Like on the E60 M5...To get the full 500BHP you have to push the button..Why!!!the cra 500BHP leave it alone....Cars are getting far to many buttons..set this, push this, turn this.....Can you remember when you got in turn the key and away you go..

the 458 is a prime example. toooooooooooooo many buttons, you need to be about 14 to operate all of that.
