The Maserati Megafactory was on NG down here last night. I sent an email to the other MMG members down here to catch it but probably a bit late. Great viewing and now I want to do the factory visit. Cheers Geoff

So is your buddy available for chauffeuring services down there next spring? Do I sound envious.....just a little!!! No doubt we will see lots of photos posted on the Forum. By the way if you have to pull out at the last minute I can be there in 24 hrs. Cheers Geoff

Have not seen the Maserati programme yet but watched the Ferrari one recently.

It is a great programme but a lot of the narrative is naff - 'a Formula 1 car for the road'. Well if that is the case why does the 599 lean so much on the corners in the video?

As a Maserati owner the bit I liked best was the body in white stage where you see a 4200 and a Spyder on a Ferrari line. Reminds us that there is a lot of Ferrari in our cars....

I think Pat, they were made 3/4 years ago as a single series, repeating them every once in a while

Ferrari one was dated 2006, hence 4200/Spyder bodies in the paint shop.

Ah, this is what I remember then. I was in a hotel in the Netherlands and saw on the Discovery Channel some 4200 shells on a production line in the background. My failing memory associated this with Maserati, not Ferrari.
