Maserati GS water leak

Hi guys,

I have noticed today a water leak coming from the middle of my car just behind the front anti roll bar? After shutting down it continues to drip for about 5 minutes, the water leak is not excessive but I want to make sure I fix it pronto before it gets worse.

I had a look around the engine but cant see any suspect areas that could be causing this.

Could anyone share any thoughts on what it maybe?

Thanks

Mike

Probably from the air con. My 3200 does it regularly when it's warm outside and I have the inside temp set low.

Might be the radiator. The water runs off the under tray making it seem like the leak is from somewhere else.

Well, that's what happened to my 4200.

Air con condensation will be pure water. Radiator will be coolant. Shouldn't be too hard to tell the difference by look and touch and feel

Taste the water if it's sugary it's a coolant leak if tastes of nothing it's your aircon and nothing to worry about.

Spit and rinse if sugary and when I say taste, I mean touch it and lick your finger not drink it.

I rarely use the air conditioning but when I do there will be a small puddle on the floor. There is also a small exhaust leak where the cats meet the x pipe. When the car is cold there is some condensation water which sometimes drops on the floor. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the replies guys, i didn't have the AC on and after tasting the fluid its sweet so its definitely coolant. I best be getting it inspected to see exactly where its coming from, the radiator or associated pipes!
