Hi

I have recently, well today changed my insurer.

I was paying £345 with £350 excess for 3,000 limited miles with Hagerty and after a few calls have swapped to
AON/Footman James for £369 with £100 excess for 5,000 limited miles so happy days.

Now I am a member of the Porsche Club and i am a forum member here, but they want a Maserati Club number and of course I am not a member of a club as such, just the forum. Does this forum have membership numbers as such? Could this then be used as they are giving me a small discount for being a club member, otherwise i guess i have to join the maserati Club UK.

Just a thought, as if we had club numbers I am guessing that would qualify us for insurer club discounts.

Cheers

Lee

Just about to change my insurance. In fact, the paperwork is on my desk at this very moment. I'm interested.

Great idea Lee....pm Matt/Conaero if he's missed this.....:)

A registration number for every member would just prove we are part of a club/forum and not a random car buff.

Just proof that you are part of club/forum and a tree hugging eco warrior which is what all Maserati owners are are'nt we!!!!

Ok, just caught up on this, thanks to Loz for calling me and giving me the heads up.

You already have a memberhship number, its your cronological number that you registered with, with "SM" infront of it then a 5 digit format.

If you look at the screen shot below it is of the screen that you get when you click on "My Profile" top right when you are logged in:

So you will see that I am number 4. You then need to add SM then your 5 digit number to get your membership number, so mine is:

SM00004

Just a quick note on insurance, I'm struggling to get any quote less that 1k from any of the main usual suspects.

Means that the renewal at 890 is gonna be the best I can achieve. 5000 miles, but left on drive overnight. That's an increase of around £140 from last year. Must be my postcode and where I keep it that's not helping.
