Now wasn't there a 3200 for sale cheap without a gear box.....That would a job and a half making a 3200 into a CC.

Joking aside would it be possible to put a cc gearbox in a 3200?

If all the underside is the same layout, then why not.........but then you'd need to be sure about the ECU set up etc........might have to change a lot more as well!!

If I were to do the conversion I would use a Gransport gearbox as it seems more sorted.

P, am I misreading your post? You're saying the GS isn't transaxle? Hmmmmm.

My understanding is the 4200 s boxes are at the rear axle.....3200s are just behind the engine........stand to be corrected though.....lol

The 3200 is the more conventional Engine/clutch/Geartrag gearbox as one unit, then prop, to a live rear axle which houses the dif and 2 drive shafts.

The 4200 and GS are the same layout, Engine/clutch as one unit, then drive shaft, to a live rear axle which houses the gearbox/dif (transaxle) and 2 drive shafts.

The CC gearbox was updated in the GS and renamed from CambioCorsa to Robotobox.

Thanks for clarifying that Gents! I did not know the gearbox was changed between the 4200 and GS. Wonder what the failings of the 4200 box are? Robotobox? Sounds like something out of Transformers! :)

Robotbox just means....its a manual......worked by hydraulics minus the clutch pedal...ie paddles.

Its confusing as i thought that the GT was the manual and the CC was the F1 paddle box on the 4200.
Is there any difference in either at this point?
