I would like a Lotus...but it won't happen in 2011, nearly bought a new esprit turbo in '88, went for a 350i instead...
like the look of the elise...I know Andy is very knowledgeable on this subject

Andy has owned nearly every model. i bet once you try one, you will get addicted to them. I would like a Series 1 Elise in Yellow or Orange, a decent one can be had for 11k.

Enz, my fave combo is mustard yellow (obviously) with a green roof, that sounds naff but the one i went in was that combo and it looked great, so british.

no Enz, S1 cars were made between 1996 and 1999 (i think).

This car Enz is the 111r, 189 bhp and in the best colour.

I think a Lotus should be in a biright colour although it would look out of place next to your tasteful cars that are in more discreet colours. The S1 Elise has a rover k series engine, 1.8, 118 bhp. All the S1 Elise' had the 1.8 unit although there were some special editons like the 135 which had 135 bhp and the sport 160 which had 160 bhp. Andy had a 160, i dont think he will mind me posting a picture of the frog.

the 160 is a rare beast though Enz, especially in Kermitt Green (Scandal Green is the real name) i think Andy told me only 5 Scandal Green 160's were made. It is rare you see a 160 available, the 135 is slightly more popular but again, still quite a rare car. The S1 Exige has a 1.8 engine, i think the power was 180 bhp (Andy will tell you as he owned one) these are rare cars, dont come for sale often and can fetch 16k upwards.
