Any Maserati owner, is always welcome, to come and have a drink etc. Do let me know when you arrive in Southern Spain.
My wife is from Portishead, so you two could have a right old west country natter!

Yes, will let you all know, how my lovely drive went. Off to the Ferry soon.

Andy.

Im now off the ferry, done around 200 miles, and 15 miles south of Burgos. Car behaved itself. Only problems encountered are, the glovebox filler flap and boot release control unit, fell off twice. Only a minor problem. Other problem, lots of finger marks on passenger window, when i returned to car on ferry!!

Think the control unit is a dummy Andy.......That's where Loz plugged in the "Anti-touch electric shock motor".......incase anyone touched his baby !!!! have a word with him

Finger marks equals good!

I filled my Maser up to day and was reminded how much interest they create - everyone was looking!! Also pumping 80 litres of super juice takes so long.

Ok. Trip went really well. Got back in record time!!
Now, a curious thing happened on the way down. A creaking noise started at the front end, over certain undulations. First, offside, then nearside. Then from under the handbrake area, then rear of car. It did it for awhile, and conclusions were, shockers were making the noise. Then it stopped, then it started doing it, if i put load on the suspension, like sharp fast lefts. Then all of a sudden, quietness again! Weird. Anyone got any ideas?

Agree with Frank. I found this happened on each of the Euro trips even more so when it got very hot and dusty and the bush's became dry and dusty.

White grease all bushes then? Did think it might be dry bushes, and i bet Loz, never took the car out in the rain [part lubricant]. Indeed, the car has not done many miles in last 2 yrs or so, so bushes will be a bit dry, to start with.
Only been back 2 days, and already, Spanish men, are stopping, and want to know about the car! It def turns heads. I'm going to treat her to a good wash, and wax, to get rid of the million bugs, splattered on the front.

Not sure if that will work on the main suspension arm bushes, there may be a bit of wear, either that or silicone spray on the anti-roll bar ones
