Lowering a Maserati 4200

Hi, would anyone know if Grandsport springs will fit a 2003 4200. Want to bring it down about an inch. Or does anyone have any ideas on springs I could fit. The 4200 I have is a GT and has skyhook. Many thanks in advance.

99.9999% sure they will. Others will be along shortly

You don’t need new springs just adjust the ring on the Coilovers

The Gransport had regular 4200 springs, just wound down lower on the adjustable spring seats.

Gransport springs are the same size, so they interchange with the 4200.

They are a different part number and a different rate. which was also carried over to the facelift 4200. If you buy springs today, you only get GS spec ones.

As above you can adjust the spring platforms, but beware, they can be a bit seized so it’s not like winding up a watch.
