I've just purchased a set of replacement car mats for a 4200 Coupe from Ultimate car mats. I'm extremely disappointed with them and would recommend if anyone is thinking of using this company they read the reviews at the attached link. Wish I had :-(

A set of mats for the 4200 coupe is only front.
If you opt for any embroidery it is done on a different quality and possibly colour shade piece of carpet which is then sewn on to the mat
No fixing lugs come on the mats as the template used didn't have them (template I found out later coming from a customers Spyder, hence i guess why only two mats)
Customer service was poor.

I'm yet to add my review!

Unfortunately in this life rarely are there true quality bargains to be had , by the sounds of it they really shouldn't offer there average quality goods for high end cars , its obvious and short sighted of them reputation wise , one hit wonders and not looking for repeat business, sorry you had to experience this , i'd be dissing a strong review

Answered per my thread on colour code for carpets, but in case anyone reads this thread, I bought a complete set of original factory clip in mats, all four, to my carpet colour code, from my Maserati main dealer for only £61.81 late last year, including VAT!
At that price, it makes no sense but to buy the original factory supplied set.

Indeed, most things Maserati are ridiculous prices, fortunately, the mats are not one of them, go OEM as MJ advises.

I would be interested to know which dealer it was, I have tried 2 and been quoted £132 plus vat!

Thanks

Just seen your other thread, still asleep here.

Thanks

It was November last year, they could have put the price up I guess.
Or maybe different colours are a different price, depending on their stock level.
The set I bought did have to come from Italy, and at the time the parts department where surprised how reasonable they where!

I'd like to think so....if you never ask...you never get!

P

Alans away on Holls at the moment , and Gavin doesn't seem to have the authority to give more than 5% so ive found out this week , on £14K worth of parts 5% aint much

£132 plus vat, thats so annoying!
See my invoice from November last year!

Its a bit much doubling the price, then VAT on top.
...unless blonde are cheaper!

Quite normal , anyone whose bought Maserati parts withany regularity will realize early on that they actually fluctuate their prices month by month , it was customary a few years back to charge 20% more for lh and rh parts namely wings headlights etc , apparently nearside wings were more commonly donked so they thought they would cash in on it by adding 20% grrrrr, bit much when it stretches to carpets ,
