They look absolutely awesome - there is a price to pay though at Euro 3950,- set.
Love the fact there are people out there making tailor made stuff for our cars. Well done ASM!

Does anyone know the ASM price of a refurbished GT-S subframe?
I don’t need one but it might be sensible to keep a spare one at home for the inevitable.

WIll they done and fitted before Le Mans, or will I have stop and wait for you at every set of traffic lights?

X-Catalysts addition in testing right now, this will be a swap part with a pair of race catalysts & x-pipe
A extra gentle x-pipe merger insures that balancing is done with out flow interruption.
OEM lambda wiring fits, just as in front the retaining P-clips need to be removed.

We've now done a full MOT here with these and secondary 02 sensors enabled & functioning plus already a few hundred miles of testing. (including rain, low speed, high speed, city driving)
If you deactivate the secondary 02 control in the NCM you could easily swap these in anytime you'd need have the GranTurismo emissions/road compliant and revert back to stock resonator. (or a open X-pipe which i'd not recommend in volume)

Sound, rather dramatic change more than was expected versus the OEM resonator it's much more spectacular yet the OEM valve control can completely tone it down, in "Sport" (on the OEM Oval tip mufflers) it's externally quite loud with valves open

nice work and about time someone picked up serious exhaust and inlet tuning on these engines... The Aston scene has had Bamford and rose squeezing a proven 70 - 80bhp out of the v8 vantage and db9 for years

You speak the truth. And by God it makes a difference! The V12S engine is generally 545hbp (20 down on the 'advertised' figure but Bamford Rose reckons the mods will up that to around 610. To be fair, the standard Aston manifolds are a big old set of corks (a hangover from earlier V12 engines, limited by EuroV / EGR requirements and generally inefficient), so there's a lot to gain just by unclogging things. I suspect the Maserati manifolds may be much less restrictive in the first place.

I was thinking of getting a 4.7 Grantourismo after my 4200 but in the end bought a DB9 for exactly that reason. Watching Mike at BR crush trolls questioning the R&D when he was actually on the development team for the engine at Aston is quite amusing too.

Mike is a funny character. Technically very talented but if it was someone else's garage they likely wouldn't put him front of house. Luckily it does them no harm - they're always rammed. Collecting mine from him tomorrow.

Are you enjoying the DB9?

Ha ha nailed it.

Yeah its awesome... at the moment it doesnt feel as quick or have the sound and drama that the 4200 gave with the tubi and gear changes kicking you in the back like a mule... but I know it's actually quicker and I will get the sound back once I get the exhaust sorted.
I will never get the throttle blips or mule kick gear changes cause of the torque coverter but in sport and nailing it the paddle shifts are quick enough. It also handled much better too, the 4200 was like a giraffe on rollerskates
