It will never happen, the UK is filled with 'men in sheds' industries that would be wiped out overnight, job loss and loss of exports, no way, ill stick my left one on the fact it wont happen.

Worldwide implications as 90% of aftermarket non generic parts are made in Turkey /eastern Europe and the Far east , it will never happen , and the cost of policing it would be prohibitve , we cant even police the laws we do have adequately

Just another euro cloth headed cretin trying to give himself a legacy. The courts would be backed up from now until the sun explodes trying to get through the millions of modified cars and the appeals everyone would be making. Utter folly and yet another example of w*nkers trying to make a name for themselves. Why sort out the real problems threatening to blow Europe out of the water when you can concentrate on stupid, inane and trivial bollox like this?

Loz, I don't mince my words because I don't have too, yet. These people have taken it upon themselves to meddle in our lives simply because they can and I feel better after a good rant. I'm making the most of it before they ban this little pleasure too.

Does that mean they can stop you to check your engine and gearbox oils too? How far do they go before they realise what asses they are making of themselves? Oh, I forgot we are talking about Brussels, if they haven't realised that by now, they never will.
