Hi Jay,
I went to the 24 for the first time last year and loved it but this year will be doing the Classic the following month.

I went to the Classic 2 years ago and loved it and would say it is my fav compared to the 24.

Enjoy the trip,

cheers

Classic tickets purchased ! For your information I will be parking in the centre circuit car park which accessed via the tunnel for just £20.00. I bought general car parking last time ( Not Maserati ) and it was pants. A long slog into the circuit with the walk in crowd. Not recommended. Alternative is to buy camping slot but my partner refuses to rough it. I camped in 2008 with the lads and it was a great laugh. ( Mason Blanche ) Will be searching available hotac in or near Le Mans 05th / 06th followed by a run to either Honfluer or Deauville pm 07th. Anyone on the Newhaven - Dieppe Ferry 05th July ? Will be first time for us with 3200 :) Look forward to seeing fellow SM members. Any SM car stickers out there ?

We always park in Expo, and that one works very well, just make sure you go in the main entrance and dont get routed up the dual carriageway and round the back.

I think its down to the individual, even though alot of us are going to be staying in the same place.

For me its ususally Dover/Callais then boot it down, about 1200 miles in all from Chichester.

However, this year we will be going overnight ferry on the Wednesday from Portsmouth (15mins away) then its only 90 mins down to Le Mans.

Re the classic Le Mans

Just to give the guys staying at La Butte a little notice , Wacky has asked if we can have all the remaining funds in by mid April , then for whatever reasons things were to go pear shaped he will still have a while to re-advertise it , i have already paid a deposit of £250 and will give you all a shout at the end of March with an exact amount to pay

Remember we have it from the 1st to the 14th so feel free to make use of it within that time

regards loz
