It may have been Gavin (green 3200) that changed them all last year, I know someone was doing it and I think they were struggling for Silicone ones for the V, well worth a search.
I'm sure I've seen a fairly complete set available, but it didn't cover every replacement. There are plenty of manufacturers out there who could either make them or find something in their range to fit. Just needs a guinea pig full set of hoses to match up. David Askew could probably provide this. The main issue for most owners would be the cost of labour to replace everything as not everyone is a competent mechanic or brave enough to tackle the full job.

This appears to be the thread;

Turbo cooling hoses not included, so these will be ordered from eurospares. The inner hoses are mentioned too; additional required.

I'm going the whole hog and ordering turbo air hoses as these are showing some cracks too. When they arrive I'll do a step by step guide - I'll have the turbo cooling hose replaced by a garage and get them to document that too.

Was a very nice day, and I had my sun factor 50 in the door so I made the most of it!

The RAC turned up and it was a chap (Phil) from my home town. Turned out to be the most positive and helpful RAC employee I have ever met. He managed to find a replace the split hose with another he had spare. So I drove home, which was astounding. If he reads this I cannot thank him enough for all the effort and two hours under the car.

This is the offending hose;

That hose split on mine, also on the nearside - its a right pig to get at - £12 to fix but cost me c£200 with a tow home, RAC man said "oh yeah that's f~~~~d" so just goes to show the level of service is not always the same

Left me on Chiswick Roundabout at 4pm on a Friday - many cries of "nice car mate.....broken down?"

I'm seeing a new side of you Frank!!

Does this hose issue effect the 4200's? I presume not from the comments above.

Well, the hoses are going to be knocking on 10 years old, so expect them to start failing I think....

No idea...but any ten year old hose is liable to fail......especially if under high pressure and or exposed to excessive heat, expansion/contraction and other wear and tear

If there was a complete silicone hose kit for the 4200 I would be interested for sure.
It certainly can be done, you can buy a complete silicone hose kit for the Triumph Stag now, and that is 40 years old!

Aftermarket silicon kits also available for TVRs , I had that happen to my Cerbera, but AA fixed mine. I would think they would become available as/when more owners do their own repairs or upgrades.
