Hi Pete

Looking out for you and your hotel on BBC Country Tracks, Sunday 18th March 11:00.

Looks amazing where you live, maybe this year will see another Assetto Corsa on the island?

Fugg nows guys. We get a lot of TV crews from all over the world doing programmes on Arran, no one approached us from the BBC so I guess we are not featured but we have been in several European programmes.

Hi Andrea

I know we have talked about Arran before but forgot to ask when did you eat here & more importantly did you enjoy it?
Don't forget to pop in when you next visit Craggy Island.

As a kid we were on Arran for a weeks holiday and we were going for a hike up Loch Tanna and over the mountains about 15 miles or so and a little ginger kitten started to follow us (and the dogs) it kept with us all day and at one point tried to have a go at an adder! When we got back to the motor and opend the doors, the dogs jumped in and curled up on the seats and the kitten curled up in the dog's lap and went to sleep! We informed the police down in Brodick and said where we were staying, at the end of the week they said to keep the cat as nobody had reported it.... I'm not a cat person but he was a real character and a star; went on many holidays with us and on all the hikes too! poor sod got squashed by a car just a few yards from home one night when he was about 6 :(

I have not been back to the island since but I would say it is the best of all of the Scottish Isles I've been to; stunning sights like a whole hillside of red deer, eagles and basking sharks just stunning.

Good call, best not do it as a part of the family holiday though!

I'd go with that for next year's road trip or even late September this year; highlands, islands and distillaries.... indulge many of my passions in one or two! So the 'Moonshine' run it is.... I'm sure Harsh, Yeti and others can assist on some stunning roads, there are also many hunting lodges that could 'accomodate' us along the way.
