Been lurking for a while and been a regular visitor, but think it's time for an intro !
Very happy owner of an MC Shift 4.7 in Rosso Trionfale that is my daily driver.
Sports button puts a smile on my face every day !!

Got a question for GT owners - what wipers do you use ?
I bought a couple of Bosch Aerotwin - passenger side fits perfectly (AR17U), driver side does not (AR26U). For the drivers side it looks like a different attachment is needed to the wiper arms.
Anyone running Aerotwins with advise or what sort of wipers do you have fitted?

Welcome, love the colour.

personally I can't be bothered messing about with wiper fit so just buy mine from the dealer at about £100 for the pair. Even I can fit them!

Depending on what tyres you are running watch Sport in the wet if it is cold.

Thanks guys ! Car is embarassingly dirty to take any photos at the moment. Will see if I can dig some up from last year. Colour is stunning in the sun.

BigBob- could'nt agree more. Busy T junctions can be a challenge

Odd. I fitted bog standard Boschs to mine, and they fit perfectly. Can't see what all the fuss is about.

Lovely car BTW :)

You can adapt the AR26U to fit quite easily by cutting a small section out of the side. It's obvious what to do. Use a small hacksaw and tidy with a sharp knife. Since I posted this I've thoroughly tested it by driving to Italy and back and it held up in torrential rain and at 160mph, though not at the same time :)

Mr k .... exactly what I have just done. But was not sure they would stick. Glad to know it has worked for you.

Passenger side no issue :

Driver side, bit of a challenge as you can see:

One of the arms of the locking mechanism does not fit.
So cut the arm with a hacksaw...

... and it fits.

Just worried that it will hold now :-0

It'll be fine. I see the GT takes the AR17U on the passenger side. The QP V takes the AR18U. I'll update the alternative parts thread. Will make it easier for people to find the info in future.

When changing the arms/blades put a towel on the windscreen as you really don't want the arm falling and hitting the glass!

That's a top tip.

Wipers replaced. Tested with hose (where is the rain when you need it) and all good.

Cost just over £20 and IMHO a much better look with Aerotwins than the OEMs.

Lovely colour car. (Changes in different lights from what I've seen).

There was an MC Shift car in that colour for sale when I was looking (with carbon exterior accoutrements)...would have bought it had the price been a bit more sensible.

(Edited to add - £100 for wiper blades from a dealer is taking the mick when a pair of Bosch are less than £40).
