I use Admiral for my Golf and GS and i think it costs about £1200, I'm 30 (was 29 when took out the insurance) and have 7 years no claims

It's actually with Admiral. They give you a 0800 phone number to call if you breakdown. It's specific to the car and driver. I guess the amount is so low as the maximum mileage is only 7k. What is covered can be found on their website.

Admiral for me on multi car it's just over 500, everyone else was a grand+

That number must be someone like Green Flag under contract to Admiral. They do seem reasonable, I will have to have a look on my next renewal.

Just the GT, jag and the wife's merc so in total about 800 ish. TVR is on classic car insurance with mannings who did quote on the GT but is was over 1k. Avia multi came close'ish at 800+ for the GT but on one could match admiral.
