RainX car polish? actually is RainX more 'slippery' than car polish/wax?

Flat molecules... Carnauba wax is a good hydrophobic and you can use it on your glass however it does absorb a small amount of water and in certain conditions this can give it a milky haze which is not good on a screen... I would recommend using rain-X as it never in my experience suffers from any milkyness. I have no idea what Rain-X uses but I would think it is likely to be PTFE (non-stick frying pan TEFAL).

RainX is great. Use it on all our cars including the race ones. If applied well and kept topped up you'd be amazed how well it works. At speed you hardly ever need use wipers except in downpours

impressive - the glass frame was the best demo. shame its not for cars yet - don't think this will be long..

next is to get EXO v2 applied and see how close this is
