Thanks @lambertius, I mean Mas430 ;) really enjoy these sort of videos, going to wrap my exhaust up to the sports cats with exhaust bandage, see if it cures the p0431/p0421 codes i keep getting.

Give me a Getrag manual gearbox 3200GT anytime!

Thanks- a timely video clip as I'm about to change my clutch (for the 3rd time ☹).

Previous repairs were down to the thrust bearing but this time it looks like my clutch tangs have been Tangoed. Can anyone on here please confirm that the clutch from the F1 system will work with the manual gear selection setup (mine is a manual)? I have a suspicion the spring loading on the manual clutch is a little softer to go easier on your left leg when pushing the clutch pedal. If the spring loading and tangs are beefed up in the F1 clutch I would fit it and accept the extra effort to push the clutch pedal- if anything it might be a more robust clutch and good exercise to boot.

I understand the thrust bearings have different seals due to brake fluid used in the manual as opposed to hydraulic fluid used in the F1 but are essentially the same. Plan to use a Hill Engineering thrust bearing as supposedly a better bearing than OEM.

On my recent work related trip to Wales to attend the Sportsmaserati Training Event I also managed to pickup small cracks on both front wheels (FD 19 inch) so please make sure and look out for dam potholes!!

Any help on selecting which clutch to use greatly appreciated!!

The clutches are the same as far as most people have found I think. In my dim and distant memory I remember a thread about it.

The Part #s for them are different but they look the same, the manual clutch is cheaper anyways:

Manual
Auto

Edit: While they did have different numbers, it appears the manual one I linked above is also listed for F1 cars so I assume this is the later clutch design which is supposedly better wearing.

Thanks Zep/Twinspark.

Have ordered a F1 clutch and will give it a go- on the plus side it was almost £200 less than the manual clutch. Will let you know how it turns out when I get it fitted.
