How many miles on your 3200/4200/GranSport/Spyder?

Trouble I have is that most of my journeys are too long to use the Masers as daily drivers. They will happily do it of course, but putting 40k on them in a year isn't a bright move, nor is paying for putting that much fuel into them. They do get used though :)

Yes I know mate..!! Looking at some of the mileage's and the age of some cars on here, there are a lot of very reasonable motors about..!!

39900 km for me.
I purchased it 15 months ago and it was 23500 km, I think I can safely say it is not staying in the garage too much :)

Talking miles I had a good chat with a man who has done well in excess of 3 million miles over the years in various cars, he drives for a living and does in excess of 120k miles a year, his current car is an S class diesel and previous cars have been LPG converted Jag XJR's etc as he runs a chauffeuring business. I asked him if BMW was up to the job and he said no way, most of the 5 and 7 series run into trouble at 140-150k miles but the Mercedes just go on and on, it's not the first time I e heard this from people in the same trade. Then he goes on to tell me that maserati called him up to offer him an extended test drive in a QP and they think it will suit his business needs ! He said to me knowing I was a Maser owner "can you imagine how bankrupt I would be if I chose the QP as my next car?" :)

Of course I agreed and said it would spend most of its time in the garage!

The naggers dog-carrier (E46 320D) now has 227k and is still going strong. I'll be driving it down to Turkey next month and the only thing I'll do to it before I go is get the AC gas freshened up and an oil change.
