Years later, that's now kinda cool... what colour's the interiorNo everyone's cup of tea but the colour kind of grew on me.
Well, I asked Maserati for some clarity on numbers, directly related to manual 4200's as that's what i've got.
I've asked the question. Lets see what they come back with. Thanks David...........It would be nice to have that one confirmed!
Well, I asked Maserati for some clarity on numbers, directly related to manual 4200's as that's what i've got.
The response was as follows:-
Thank you for contacting Maserati and, please, accept our apologies for the timing of this reply.
Please find below the details you requested.
- Number of GT Coupes imported into the UK: 878
- Number of RHD GT Coupes imported into the UK: 877
- Number of Blu Nettuno GT Coupes imported into the UK: 122
- Number of GT Coupes manufactured (worldwide): 6.528
It would apprear, perhaps unsurprisingly, the the majority of RHD GT Coupes made were inported into the UK (877 of the 1078 manufactured).
I didn't ask how many are facelift models which i will go back and ask as well.
I think so @TimR but it does not make sense... this:
- Number of GT Coupes manufactured (worldwide): 6.528
Does not add up with this:
https://www.sportsmaserati.com/inde...fc87b-941f-4c01-8f5c-0ba60f9dde28-jpeg.50994/
That suggests that there is only a handful of Cambiocorsa surely?
Perhaps it would make more sense if Maserati sent the number of manuals vs CC to make sense of the figures...?
I agree, on reflection, the total number of 6528 likely relates to the total of 4200's manufactured wordlwide. I just cut and pasted what Maserati told me in an email. The post also states:
It would apprear, perhaps unsurprisingly, the the majority of RHD GT Coupes made were inported into the UK (877 of the 1078 manufactured).
Note the 1078 is shared in the post there, and the existing image
I suspect 'GT' shouldn't be in the line you've quoted especially since 6,528 seems very close to the 6,449 total Coupes in that image.
So, 6.5k Coupes.
1078 of which manual.
877 of which RHD and in the UK.
122 Blu Nettuno.
That is an absolute stunner. Love the colour.
Well, it really does. And whilst its possible, it dosnt seem that likely ?Makes more sense but seems like a high percentage of global manual sales were made in the UK
Well, I asked about number of UK imported RHD GT Coupes and the confused response from Maserati was:-Thanks David...........It would be nice to have that one confirmed!
