Does the Maserati diesel burn oil? If so is there a recommended regime for replacing said oil or is it expected that the dealer will do it as part of the service?
Most people never look under the bonnet these days except to top up the screen wash (which was tricky the first time on the Ghibli) so perhaps its just to make sure that the oil level is checked and topped up. A cash cow yes, but one based on a practical necessity.
