Just a note to say "Hi." I'm not a Maserati owner but an Alfa owner. (Hope that's close enogh?)

I was at the Ace Cafe tonight and met a couple guys from here. Loz was one, and as i'm useless with names, I forgot the other guys name. Sorry. I was told to come on here and introduce myself....so here I am!

Hi Peterp and welcome....Already met some of the forum reprobates then so you have an idea about what we are about.....I sure all will say Alfa owners are a big part of the forum. As you will see we have a section for you. Hope you enjoy.

I think there must be another peterp at the bank!!!!!

I have had a look round the forum and there is a lot to read. V. Interesting.

I was looking on a certain “cars for sale” website and I was amazed at what you can get for 10-12k. Mind you, I couldn’t run one every day as I do about 15k miles a year!!

Peterp, 15k a year..A Maserati will thrive on the miles. They need to be driven....Now servicing will give your wallet a hammering though.

Oh yes...you will be on first name terms with the attendant..

I reckon I'll be spending that much time on the forecourt I'll be invited to the Staff Christmas Party. LOL

Mind you, there are lovely looking cars. Maybe I'll have one as a secound car. Ummmm.....There's an idea. Now, how can I convince Mrs peterp that I need two cars????

Just tell her it does 30mpg, women don't have a clue about fuel consumption. It's all worth it, I've done my last 40k miles in maseratis and you can live with it
