Hi all,

Urbanmaser told me about this forum. Thought it was about time I posted something up about myself.

Been around forums for quite a few years now, so I may be familiar to some of you who frequent Pistonheads, Ferrari chat & Club Scuderia.

Recently, I've just started to do mini-documentaries on vehicles such as Ferrari's & Lamborghini's' and yes I'll also be doing some on Maserati's as well. I also occasionally organise autocar events like Hedingham castle on the 1st August. Also the recent HR Owen service day as well.

I don't have a Maserati, but I occasionally drive around in a black 348. Had it for a few years now and we are about to install a 480bhp Le Mans race engine into it.

Oh...and I'm also a notorious practical joker on forums.

Hi Angelis and welcome. Are we going to need to get a naughty corner for when you're being mischievous?

Hi Angelis, and welcome. Any pics of your 348? If you could do a little pictorial, history etc in the Fezzer section, it would be great to know a little more about your car.

Welcome Angelis.....I'v always liked the look of the 348 and great value currently. How is it to drive as people are not always kind to it, but I have always thiought it's the right size to have fun in the bends.

This wouldn't be the first forum that had one specially created for me :bart_simpson-226:

Very cheap to buy.... well comparatively. I was originally going to buy a new Boxster S, but the 348 worked out cheaper.

The 348 does get a lot of slagging off on the forums, but 99% of the people who slate it have never driven one or owned one. Most people who own one, don't want to sell them and there are usually very few for sale.

Driving wise, it's as raw as you can get. No power steering or other mods to made driving easy. Not even cup holders!!! :(

Saying that, I test drove a 360 once and preferred my 348 as it was more of a driving experience. The 360 was too much like a Jaguar for me. Nice car, but not something that I really wanted.
