Welcome Dom,
A few more SW members and we'll be due a SW meet.
Nice choice of "other" car with the caterham, I've been on the virge of building one myself for sometime now, just haven't got around to taking the plunge! I have an Elise as my "other" car. Do you meet up with any other caterham owners for blats? I've only recently moved down here so would be interested in joining you for a blat if you do or sharing some good routes.

Having the same thoughts, what with the Exeter mob as well we should be able to gather 7-8 members.

If you guys plan your meet for a friday you will get visitors from the other areas.
Ros & I would come & make a weekend break out of it.
And that also worth considering for the other regional meets., Fridays are better , more people would come.

There is a venue in the SW called the Wie Inn which has cheap and great food,bars with real ales and stuff, accomodation ,camping and a sports facility,skitles,squash,snooker,swimming pool,outside space /grounds are very nice and is very easy to get to just go through exeter and out on the crediton road to

from there you are a short hop from the A377 crediton to barnstaple route which is a favourite bikers road as its full of little villages,open stretches and twisties.From there its main roads back to the motorway (conecting at Tiverton)
I can book bulk accomodation and make sure that members get a section of the large carpark seperated for our use if needed.
Carrs is in Exeter if they were needed or emblem in poole.
If you intend to stay for a long weekend then i would recomend this venue as its got almost everything you need right there and is fairly central to Devon.
Discounts for bulk bookings and that would include food. (but not the beer!)
carparks can take about 60 cars or more.
it is in a quiet secluded place on the edge of a village but is about 2 miles from the A377

Hi P,
what exeter Mob is this then?
Course i am definatly up for a SW Meet and wondered when it would be a bit nearer to me.

hope you guys get this event together. what with the southern & the midland meets we could soon have events all over the country all year round to visit.

Its good that Maserati will soon start to have regular meets all over the country.... although I dont see the Scottish or northern England boys and girls organising anything yet!!

Yes, guys, this is great having all these meets all over the country, just make sure you start a dedicated thread in the EVENTS section.

You could always organise a meeting with the guy on the Isle of Arran....... maybe on a ferry in the Irish sea!!
