Hello everyone :)

I'm not a Maserati owner and I think it may be a few years before I can afford to have a V8 on the drive :(

That said I'm still a very Happy Man, I've owned a string of Alfa Romeo's :)

GTV twinsparks, GTV CUP V6, a rather fetching Dijon blue GT with dare I say a tractor engine that was slightly modified

My current drive is another Tractor but a very pretty one, it's a Silver Brera 2.4 SV that will be  tickled in the next few months :)

Please be gentle with me, us tractor drivers have feelings :laugh:

Stay Safe
Tony

Cheers phrozen,

I've had a few good turns in a mates 147GTA it was "enhanced" but very civilised for a 3.7 on front wheel drive :)

Hi Tony,

Welcome to the finest Maserati forum bar none... It's a misconception that Maseratis are expensive to have sitting on the drive; its driving them that is :)

Welcome Tony,

If you understand Alfas then you will understand a Maserati, they will both frustrate you and then reward you and also expect you to spend money so that the feel "special". I have had an Alfetta GTV, Giulietta, 75, 164 and currently a 166 in addition to the 3200. You will find that many of us here are also Alfa fans. It's just a love of the way Italians build cars.

Cheers

Ross

They are a tad overweight it's true, that's why I chose the tractor the big V6 Q4 is even more lardy ;)

Hi Tony,

Welcome to the finest Maserati forum bar none... It's a misconception that Maseratis are expensive to have sitting on the drive; its driving them that is :)

I don't think I could afford sub 20mpg as a daily driver I do an 70 mile round trip everyday, hence the tractor.

Welcome, had a few Alfas myself, 145, two 147s , and a 3.0 GTV. all petrol mind you ;)

I have to say my Busso V6 GTV has been my favortie so far :)

Welcome, Tony.

I agree with everything Grinzzz says. Always hankered after an Alfasud but could never find one I could afford which wasn't rusted all to nothing.

Have fun here, it's a good place.

Cheers,
Adam
