I like the look of this and if I had an early 4200 I'd think hard about this as opposed to automatically opting to fit the later face-lift front end. But having canvassed the opinions of a few others, I've decided it's not right for my MC-V as being quite a rare variant, I really need to keep it standard.

I think you're spot on, Ewan

Why could this grill not be 3D printed? I am sure it would work out much cheaper, thoughts?

I'd, most probably, take a 3D printed GS version. If a printer can come up with a sensible price I would certainly consider it.

Any ideas on where we could get a cad design for it, I know someone in Cheshire who could quote us

I would be willing to pay for the CAD design for it and print it locally. Could even provide some input on a print file.

Sorry about the delayed reply- I had a family emergency.
Has everyone interested got their PMs? I think I sent them to eveyone that expressed the interest. Let me know if I missed you ;-)
I think 3d printing will certainly work but my fabricator will make it out of aluminum extrusion waterjet cut, polished and welded following by powder coating color of choice.
Black mesh backing to catch the rocks from hitting the radiator.
Yes I agree it is pricey but this fabrication process is very labor intensive.
Thanks!!!!

But why only one guy is capable of this kit? I like the current looks but that grill gives the car a youth injection.
