Saw a GTS exactly like this in London a few months ago.

Yes it is paint - a sort of matt finish I guess.

Looks OK in the flesh - not that I'd want one that colour though!

Dave, are you sure its paint? It does say solid paint and I'd read that was the colour underneath is solid. I don't think Maserati offered matt colours until recently, plus, who in their right mind would order the car in matt paint when a £2k wrap would look indistinguishable and its reversable.

If it is paint, I understand its a pain to maintain - bird cack needs removing near on instantly, and you can't polish it. It looks mean, but the novelty would wear off quickly for me (plus, its about 3 years behind trend).

I dont mind it, quite like it...aslong as its paint and not a wrap.

Its a fashion colour of the moment, and will be difficult to sell come 5 years down the line.

TBH, I am getting a bit tired of all the GT S 's being in black or silver, dont get me wrong, I love black, but they are starting to smell a little German whereas Maseratis have always been a bit more in your face. I just dont want them to blend into the crowd, so any daring addition to the paint, albeit tasteful, is a welcome one in my book.

I have seen the GTS in red and med blue and really like it, but for me, White with red leather is for me, its just a little unusual without being too in your face....MC carbon kit of course to set off the white.

I like it. Matt looks good on mean looking cars. And that's a mean looking car. Unlike the local BMW 318 in matt that I spot every so often. I actually laugh out loud whenver I see it.

Other way round for me.....
If its a wrap its alright if its paint then no....
I have a friend who has a 335 in matt black and hes been trying to sell it for 5 months and gets nothing or silly offers....
I have seen alfa spyder in matt black and i think it suits these italian cars but you need to have big balls to buy it as its a paint job and cant just remove the wrap...

Also all this matt stuff.......well i think it was alright in 2006, little boring now...
Saw a car at the motor show in 2006 and that paint job looked good...but every boy racer has their corsa wrapped around where i live so maybe thats why im tired of it

Sure I'm sure Woody.

I thought it looked nice when I saw it but as others have said it is an acquired taste and could have sell on issues.

OK, cool. Brave decision to paint it!

I think it looks OK, but I do thikn its a few years too late. Matt white or blue would be nice...or even a candy apple red or something, but black....while it looks mean, its just been done to death.

Not for me.......prefer a nice paint job...Matts option sounds just right, though metallic black suits me too!

Maserati do offer matt paint for ................................... £15k extra. It has not been on the price list for long mind, certainly not back in 2008.

Not to my taste but someone will buy it.

Looks awful...I don't get the matt 'thing' at all.

That example is also overpriced - it's practically the same age and mileage as mine and is for sale for considerably more than mine was (or indeed, other cars currently for sale at main dealers!). I'll eat my gearknob if this isn't still for sale in six weeks time.

I like the suede roof in your car, nice and soft.

Eat your gearknob?? that will be tricky, you have 2 buttons instead :D:D

Ah, well done Adam....I wondered how long it would take for someone to spot my discrepancy.

Yes, I love my alcantara headlining...the MC Stradale I drove didn't have that and it felt like a much cheaper interior!

My BMW M6 had a similarly trimmed headlining and it's a feature I always look for now.
