What would people suggest.? Stay with all black look and have black washers to match the covers or go with red washers to match the car and have a contrast against the covers? cant make up my mind. Leaning toward black...

Very nice

The deception comment made me laugh out loud !

ive had a few bits done on my Levante and it looks great, even the dealer asked me where I had got it done as customers had seen it and complimented when It was having it serviced.

Personally, I would stick with OEM. The standard screws have a collar on the flange with means that they don’t crush the cover itself when tightened as it pulls up on the panel not the plastic. It would be a shame to mar the finish you have.

@Zep Thanks for that. I think i will stay with the OEM. I also thought about whether i'm going to far now, just leave it as is... Im not a fan of that "Customized" look in general unless its subtle. The standard bolts on the car are fine as the car is fairly new so they haven't been on and off a dozen times and are still very black..

I would but someone stole some of mine that were stored as spares down the side of the engine.

Didn't someone on here replace the bolts with some nice black ones from eBay? Can't find the thread though.

I think there was a thread about bumper screws for a Gransport where new ones were found on EBay. No cheap source for the engine cover screws, yet.

Update. Done about 30 miles since the covers were fitted. Engine has been plenty hot for heat to radiate under the engine bay. Everything seems perfectly fine, no blistering or peeling anywhere. All good as it was when first fitted. Cats and X-Pipe fitting is planned for Monday. Will post on that thread.
