Have been looking at the spacers available and think 15mm all round would look good. I don't want to take the rims right up to the arches as this seems to be a bit of an add on look, as in the grey 4200 which was posted with 25mm.
There seem to be two types, rimmed and smooth. without taking apart could anyone tell me which type I need.
Also what length bolts will I need?
Great site all, keep it up.

The wheel locates on the spigot on the wheel bearing, if you fit spacers you must, in my opinion, go for hubcentric spacers which have a suitable spigot onto which the wheel locates.

The wheel bolts clamp the wheel to the wheel bearing, it's the spigot that makes sure it doesn't move around in the vertical plane put shear stress on the wheel bolts.

I have HE 15mm all round on my GS and I think they're spot on. I bought longer stainless bolts from Sprogs - a work of art. The spacers definitely make the GS look more purposeful and the wheels now fill the arches perfectly.

Thanks for all your input.
I have been in touch with Stuart for the bolts.
What he needs to know is the standard length of the bolts fitted to the GS.
Are they the same bolts as the 4200?
