Guys, I've been a long time lurker here and thought even if Maserati purchase might be in the distant future for me it was about time I registered on your excellent forum.

I did intend my lurking mode to continue for a while but with a thread like this I have to break cover and say hello.

My user names on other forums have always been banal - often simply my name - but somehow the Maserati world demanded a bit more thought. I had toyed with "Maserati Bird Rage" and "Studio Ghibli". Bizarrely, when I signed up, I discovered no one has used the simple name "trident" yet. That was tempting too.

As I'm here, if you'll forgive me saying hello in the "wrong" section: I'm a long time Italian car nut having almost exclusively owned Alfas Fiats and Lancias since I started motoring in the '80s. I'm currently Italian-less (Citroën C6) and yearning to have music under my bonnet again soon. For the moment I do get my Italian fix on my Ducati :)

Hello all.

A warm welcome TT. Glad we tempted you in from the cold. Hope you'll pull up a comfy chair and join in. Oh and we will get you in a Trident if you let us; we're a persistent lot. :D

Welcome TT, very good name. It's got me thinking for a new name...midlifecrisis seemed good at the time, the name not the crisis, which is eased by a dose of Maserati (another expensive blue pill) administered twice a day...When you do get a Maserati, you'll know you've made the right choice
