The alarm is armed then. Lock the doors with the key. Unlock with the remote. That should put them back in sync.

Nothing worked unfortunately. The alarm was starting to go off randomly everytime I started the car and even when I was parking it.
Took it in to have checked and it turned out that the alarm unit was faulty and needed replacement but they didn't have a replacement in stock so just asked to pull the **** thing out for now until they do.
Alarm free for now
How was the alarm unit deemed faulty? Are you referring to the siren or something else?Nothing worked unfortunately. The alarm was starting to go off randomly everytime I started the car and even when I was parking it.
