Yes. Locking without the remote doesn't arm the alarm......

Its getting stranger by the day- my alarm now goes off even if I keep my car unlocked / lock the doors with the key. I just don’t get the alarm unavailable sign.

Its getting really embarrassing having to drive around for 10 minutes or so with the alarm going and with absolutely nothing that I can do to shut it up... will take it to have checked today...

The alarm is armed then. Lock the doors with the key. Unlock with the remote. That should put them back in sync.

Nothing worked unfortunately. The alarm was starting to go off randomly everytime I started the car and even when I was parking it.

Took it in to have checked and it turned out that the alarm unit was faulty and needed replacement but they didn't have a replacement in stock so just asked to pull the **** thing out for now until they do.

Alarm free for now :D
