In the back of my mind I have a figure of around 120 for the 4 seater. So still quite rare.

According to an email I had from Maserati the breakdown is as follows:

“With reference to your enquiries, we would like to inform you that the number of GranTurismo MC Stradale produced for the United Kingdom is as below:

2 seater UK 2011-2014: 52
4 seater Uk 2014-2016: 155”

Sounds about right, and they would know lol.

'How many left' says about the same were registered, but only 162 are currently taxed or sorn in the UK.

There is literally nothing to chose between the 2 and 4 seater in terms of performance. I’m not sure where the wiki page got its numbers but this is the factory spec fwiw.

301 Kmh is 187 mph btw.

Personally I like the 2 seat bonnet (obvs!) It is functional as the nostrils extract air from the engine bay. The race car has a bonnet inlet to feed the inlet, but on the road car it doesn’t.

It’s horses for courses, they both make an epic noise, which works for me :D

Thinking of swopping my Gransport for a GT , I only need 2 seats but I am confused by which model has 2 seats only ?

why are you looking to swap? The Granturismo is a much bigger heavier car and having owned both I much prefer the driving experience in my GS

I love the GS , but I fancy a change , either a GT or a Ferrari 599 , not in a rush will see what pops up.

It’s easy to buy a 599 - there are always several available.
Buying a 2 seat Strad on the other hand, is tricky. Most months of the year, there are none advertised.

I viewed this one around a month or so ago. The brake discs put me off, my view anyone purchasing this needs to factor them into their numbers whether they look to replace or refurb.

It does though have the cage and belts and has some history being the press car including being on top gear and in an Evo mag. From researching the plate I also found pictures of it being on roads near the Nurburgring so assume it had some fun around there.

I should say I found James at VVS very helpful, just did not turn out to be quite right for me despite the want for the 2 seater before finding a 4 seater.
