That is VERY interesting, because the guys on the US forum have been referring to the Gransport as having an X-pipe from the factory (albeit heavier and not polished like Larini's), while the coupe had a heavily muffled central silencer/resonator.
It also begs the question why my car was louder with this unit than when I installed the Larini H-pipe...the plot thickens!
As far as im aware and both my 4200 coupe and the gransport have the same centre resonater, they really should forget about calling it an oem x pipe ITS a CENTRE RESONATOR perhaps then they wouldn't confuse the issue

We need to track down the initial post on ML that talks about a GS "x-pipe", as the more I think of it, the more I believe the actual difference in the exhaust is at the back, not the middle.
It's all your fault JP! Hahahahaha
