Exciting times!
There will be something available and your post may well garner someone considering selling, but not been advertising at the moment.
GS is a great choice, but then I would say that.

There are at least two with that spec in the for sale section right now, your timing is excellent!
Re service history these cars require 12 month engine oil changes and 36 month transmission/differential oil changes with no excuses. Obviously recent history is most important as skipping a service 10 years ago probably makes no difference now if everything was kept up since then
Buying a sub 25k mile car that's 15 years old with 5 stamps in the book is more a a gamble than buying a 70k+ mile car that has been regularly maintained

Its a preference thing, general wear and tear on the interior for example should be better with a lower mileage car - resale should also help/be quicker, there is a reason you pay more for a lower mileage car, obviously servicing is massively important - hence my original message around spec.
Good Luck in your hunt and if you don't buy a forum members car do get it inspected unless you like Russian Roulette.
I get the sell piece but then you will pay a lot less for a higher mile one. These cars are very hard to sell and with a very small market they can sit around for an age. For me that history and condition is the most important bits with these cars now they this old….But it you find a good one get it inspected by an independent and it could save you a lot of pain. Look forward to seeing how you get on and what you go for.
What is low miles?
3k pa?... or less?
I’ve got one of the best I’ve ever had just sorting out listing it. Do give me a call if you’re looking for a good one. Richard.
Thanks Richard, I will give you a call shortly.
Thanks, much appreciated. I’ll give him a ‘piece of my mind’, but hopefully he will have ‘peace of mind’. Sorry couldn’t help it Andy, pedant as an ex teacher. You will not buy from a better chap. All Dicky’s cars are the best examples around. You certainly will get piece of mind as many have found out already.
