Yesterday was the first day our group got together for an organised drive; this one through the countryside with the final destination being lunch at a winery.
A great time was had by all, with all cars performing without any mishap.
I have posted a few shots that may interest our UK friends.
It will be interesting to know how many active members on the Forum recognise their cars in their new home.
Thank you to Roger & Geoff for arranging the day's events, and everyone else who attended on the day.
Stephen

Super photos - thanks Stephen!

We need to arrange a car transporter next time for the return leg, so the drivers can more fully "explore" the wines available, rather than let all the passengers have all the fun!

Well spotted Loz,
It is indeed Phil's car, although perhaps the number plate helps give it away a bit.
I have kept Phil up to date with some of the car's outings, and he helped choose the number plate with me.
I think he is happy with the way the beastie is being looked after (it did get a wax treatment the day before the winery trip).
It was a great day out and I do not think the photos do any justice to just how beautifully presented all of the cars were.
I think anyone here that makes the effort to bring a Maserati out from the UK for their own use is likely to be the kind of person that will take very good care of the car.
So if anyone is in two minds about their cars travelling to the antipodes, fear not!
Particularly as we do not have to put salt on our roads.

Dem,
There are a lot of people looking at Pistonheads these days; not to mention this Forum and the "other one".
I have a good friend that seemed interested until he turned up at our house the other day in a brand new Mercedes.
He would like your colour combination though!
