Guys,

Should my 06 Gransport be able to select every gear wanted, car stopped, engine off, ingnition on?
Mine only selects reverse, neutral and first in those conditions.

I tried mine , having read this tread, I went from neutral to 6 with only the ignition on engine off, but only with the brake pedal depressed

I read the manual again and it says you have to presse the brake pedal, move the reverse leaver to first gear and then use the flippers to move on to other gears.
I can not rember that i ever started this sequence with the reverse leaver.....
Maybe that is the trick?

Interesting. I noticed if you select first, engine running, but staionery, if you open the drivers door she auto selects neutral, (which is good) also when I tried revering into my garage with the drivers door open she will not select reverse until I close the door. Which is not a big deal. I can still reverse and stick my head out the window if I am trying to postion the car on a specific spot.

It just pointed out how many smart relays are connected up to the drivers door, which I assume is why all those relays make such a noise when you first approach the car and open the drivers door before you even get in, let alone fire the ignition or engine. or is that noise something else?

I guess that all the safety features which is a good thing, I once watched my foreman reverse the works van into a alley when he had the door open and was leaning out looking backwards., showing off to us kids he gunned it and ripped the door off.
still makes me smile.
all those noises when you operate the remote to open the car, I love them. Its like Robocop waking up.

One of the noises is the F1 pump priming, lasts for 5 seconds if i recall correctly.
