Si Grigio touring is a hard colour to get a real deep shine on, best to give it a real good wash , followed by a good clay bar session , and then a couple of real good coats of high strength canuba wax , first coat possibly machine polished followed by a gently hand polish should see it absolutely gleaming , this is how i treat both of mine , both grigio and it seems to last a good 3 -6 months

regards loz

Thanks for the tip Loz. I have tried Zymol (and clay rub) in the past and that seemed to be pretty good - but it is a tad expensive. Not too sure that I'll have the time to give it a good wax for a while, but it is certainly on the list of things to do. The GS is currently sitting in my garage as I'm using another car for driving to the station and back - keep reaching for the paddle shifts and realising that I need to crunch the stick of a Lexus instead! I guess I'll have to wait for the weekend.

I'm not too sure yet whether I will press the GS into daily service. I have heard that these cars can be difficult in snow and ice. Anyone got any advice on this? Is it more difficult to drive in snow and ice than a 911 c2 without any traction control etc?

Si

noticed that one myself Andy, looks nice for the money.
From what I gather, 3 owners, was advertised at 32k then 33k and now at a more attractive 30k. From memory, it missed an annual last year. Not necessarily a problme, especially from a main agent.
