Hi new to this forum, and was recommended to register by dickiegrace. On the look out for a well looked after 4200 spyder, which is turning out to be somewhat of a trial. However that's the reason I want out of my German steed...too many of them out there no individuality. I know our dear government would like us all in the same grey tagged electric cars ....but I am going in the opposite direction with you guys. There's enough oil left to keep em going some time yet!

Any advice on spyders much appreciated however just picked Richards brains and he appears to know a lot about this marque and is quite local which helps...

I am not desperate but want to find the right one.

If you know of any good ones please post.

Thanks
Max

Hi Max...welcome to the best car forum of any marque in the known automotive universe!!!!

Good Spyders are a bit hard to come by...its sometimes luck, sometimes persistence and with Dickys help hopefully you can find one, buy the best and you won't regret it..........................but always have an indie inspection done as they can be very pricey to fix!

What's his address? And colour of his car ? I need the right one....

Max, I'm in Stapeley, near Nantwich. It's an Azzurro Argento (light blue) 04my but you won't get away without me hearing you! At some point in the new year p.m me and I will take you out in it to give you some idea what you are getting yourself into. If your budget can stretch to it go for an 04 car. If well serviced, mileage isn't really an issue but heated seats are a must. Advice is readily available, on here for starters, but in this part of the world Dicky Grace or Marios at Autoshield are probably the go-to people. If you want a chat, p.m me your mobile and I can give you some ins and outs of ownership.

I think I have caught the bug which started as an itch ...... Just got to scratch it!

Bennyd I will pm my mobile and maybe we can meet in the New Year.
