I fear the stewards enquiries may spoil the day yet tho’

Is this for the yellow flag stuff to be looked at after the qualifying ? Madness.....They could hardly slow the cars down at 50 mph in the wet.......Well let's hope it's not the ones at the front as they will spoil what could be a great race.

Yellow flags are there for a reason, if they ignored them they get what they deserve. In my experience too often people try to use them as an advantage and put other’s (especially marshals) lives in danger.

100% agree the flags are there for a reason and should be obeyed. Looking at it today it didn't seem that anyone did anything wrong though and result has backed that up. It was more dangerous starting the session again as per Lozzer above.

Who was it said the “Rich” kid can’t drive.
only there because his dad owns the team

Stroll - Take a bow son.
Doing it in the wet, which is a car leveller is down to luck. He'll go backwards if it's dry tomorrow. Still think he's only there because of Daddy.

Mart, yep he is there because of his Daddy but his drive today shows that he should be there. Most of the bottom team drivers over the years have been there because they have paid for the drive. F1 has always been about money....

Latifi too.

On the yellow flag subject, MotoGP have adopted the policy that if you pass a yellow flag during qualifying, your lap will be automatically cancelled. The thinking is that you 'should' back off as you pass the flag and therefore shouldn't be able to set a fast lap.

Lauda bought his way into March.

What a great race and a master class from Lewis. A true champion and one of if not the greatest drivers and he is British. Well done Lewis.

An absolutely brilliant performance once again, and a well deserved title.
