Tough one. He gave the same space Verstappen gave him on 1st lap.
I think the Perez penalty is wrong. Gained an advantage and has likely took Bottas’s chance of winning away.
Makes you think it would be worth going through and just seeing if you could drive into the distance and gain 5 seconds.
Happy to see the McLarens where they are tho.

Great result for Daniel, he comes across as one of the nicest guys in F1, they should’ve sacked Bottas before, seems to have a positive effect on him!

Max needs a proper bollocking for wandering down the middle of the track after getting out of the car.

And Hamilton needs a proper bollocking for trying to reverse with Max climbing out of the car, that was really dangerous - it will be interesting to see what happens after they’ve both been to the stewards. It seems the commentators are calling it a racing incident

Looks like Hamilton didn’t leave enough space…again ;)
If Hamilton didn't leave enough space today, Verstappen didn't leave enough space at Silverstone. Its black and white to me (not literally before you all kick off:rolleyes:)

If he did then yes, they didn’t show that bit at the time.

Maybe verstappen will just collide with hamilton in every race until the end of the season now. He will win by 5 points.

Just for the record, I don’t like either of them.

I was watching proper racing today anyway, MotoGP, great last few laps, loads of overtaking with no ‘it’s his fault’ whining and knocking each other off.

Looks like they're calling it a tactical foul by Verstappen :D

Senna's moral rule should be thrown at Verstappen just like Lewis had to do a stop and go at Silverstone for apparently trying to influence the championship.

Likewise IndyCar from 8pm this evening "Grand Prix of Portland" - exotic... It's not an oval however so might appeal and there isnt such thing as drivers moaning about a lasting advantage

A 3 place grid penalty is a bit weak considering what's at stake.
Ohh and I was right!
Indeed. If it wasn’t for the safety elements on the car I’d hate to think what would have happened to Hamilton.
I’ve watched the interviews and he hasn’t convinced me.

Reading the stewards judgement, they say that Max came from too far behind at corner entry for Lewis to be have to give him space and they noted that he could have given more space.
