Chaps,

If anyone has £120k burning a hole in their pockets, this might be of interest? I think it might be the first for sale in the UK (unless someone knows differently?).

Hum, its nice, but just how much weight would the back seats have really added?

Were they not supposed to have roll cages or am I getting confussed?

The seats look awesome and look like the ones out the MC Gransport!

Yes Matt....roll cage in Paris show car.....assume to to allow ease of installation if you opt for that.

Roll cage is an option .....Tick the box you get it ......

Thats not much of a premium..if any on that price....What 109k new so 10k options is very easy to add....

This is an odd one Adam as I don't think I would but it's almost a shame not to as thats what they had in miond for the car.....And if you see it covered in leather it does look very nice.....Its not like the metal Porsche thing.

I think I'd keep it open personally and leave the roll cage thing to the Porsche mob.

Still not getting the point of the MC Stradale - is it for people to track, or is it for people who would like to think they can race a car?

What is the performance differential between this and the stock 4.7 GT-S?

The reveiws have been very positive MS.....Read three now and all say its far better then the GTS and the car it always should have been...A much better operfromance car...But all have said it should have rear seats which I think I tend to agree with..

...its the way of Maserati now....release new car....evolve it engine wise...then handling performance wise......happened with 4200/GS........another way to keep a new version in the buyers eye at minimal expense, esp for an exclusive marque

But my point is, it's stripped down but is it intended for racing?

Sure, the GranSport was better than the 4200, and with the handling mods plus other bits and pieces I had done to mine it was getting ever closer to a 'track' car. But I couldn't really exploit it on the roads, and what you gain on the one hand (taughtness on perfect roads) you can lose on the other (firmness, bounciness on bad roads).

A Porsche GT 2/3 seems to me a car that is intended for the track but can be used on the road also.

Anyway, just curious - it is fun pushing Maser's to the limit, whether it makes sense or not! (been there, got the T-Shirt)

I recon you could add seats if you wanted to from looking at the rear.....Ah, maybe not as I would imagine the front seats don't tilt.
