Hello everyone, after years of dreaming about these cars, almost buying, then fretting about running costs, getting cold feet etc, I figured you're only here once so I've finally got one, it's only money after all...............!

So I'm now the very proud owner of a 2006 Gransport LE and although I'm still very much in the honeymoon period (2 weeks) every time I drive it I find myself grinning like a big kid.

Some of my previous cars include BMW Z3 MCoupe, Twin turbo Supra, Porsche 944S2, plus various hot hatches and dull company cars but the Masser just blows them all away for class, effortless performance and that noise!

Looks like a great forum by the way, and I look forward to getting lots of useful information on running the car.

Cheers,
:luvit:
Mark.

Hi Mark and a warm welcome to the forum.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW CAR!

Yes the grin comes with the car. Won't be going any time soon, so the forum advice is Nivea and plenty of it.

Would love to hear how the purchase came about and maybe some piccies?

Regards, Miles.

Hi Mark,

Great choice of motor.... Welcome to the world of the perma-smile....... topped up with just a glimps of that beauty through the window or even just picking up your keys!!! Sitting in, engaging the key, foot on the brakes and twist to start - Yes life is good now!!!!!!

I'm four months in and echo the sentiments about the honeymoon.... I've got the bill for the wedding now though (hey Dem...)!

Sounds a great combo Mark...Grey piping....Not seen many with that. Bet it breaks up the sea of black really well...Look forward to seeing some pics.

Congratulations on the purchase and welcom to the club!

Nero/Nero with grey is pretty rare - its not M400 GSP per chance, is it?

The only other possibles that I can think of is the one that was at Saxton earlier this year and then was for sale privately in Herts or the one at Centurion (though this might have been giallo piping)? All the other black/black I can think of either have black or yellow piping.

Congrats again and please post some pics up when you get a chance.

Welcome to the forum Mark, car sounds lovely. The honeymoon period is very long, even after 6 months I still smile when I open the garage door.

Hi Woody,

It's the one that was for sale privately in Herts. Hope you're not going to tell me it's a bad'un!!

Cheers,

Mark.

Keep us up to speed on how she performs....and about when you're making that appointment to see the plastic surgeon to hopefully cure your permanent smile!!!

Mark that is a real beauty, normally a fan of the brighter colours for the GS but yours, god it is stunning, hope to see you at some events this year, all the best and wish you many happy miles in her.

Hi mate,

haha....nope, not about to tell you its a bad un!

If its the car I'm thinking of, the only thing I know is it was previsouly supplied by Saxton's....thats about all I know!

Loving the black wheels, seriuously tempted to get mine done like that. Nice plate too - I have one a very similar size on mine and wonder whether it looks gash. It seems it doesnt :)

It certainly looks nice, all polished up. Cant wait to do mine properly.

Enjoy.
