Hi all
I'm just in the process of removing all emblems and rear number plate to enable me to properly work on the paint - I'll start another thread with all pictures, etc. once I've finished. Taking the number plate off I can see that someone in the past has screwed directly through the fibreglass on the boot lid - 8 holes in total (I guess they screwed some kind of mount onto the car). This probably explains why the boot gets damp!
Any suggestions as to what is best to use to fill the holes? They are not so big - maybe ca. 3mm - and will be invisible once I've remounted the plate. I was thinking some standard body filler but as it's fibreglass thought I'd better check with the experts.
